An artist between different worlds
Channing Ruth Banks is an American painter, singer and composer who started her career at 14 years old by writing poetry and drawing with charcoal. As a musician, she plays the flute, piano and guitar and has been on various international charts as both a singer and composer. As a painter and artist, she explored various styles, mediums and techniques, exhibiting in various art exhibitions around the world until one day in 2017 when everything changed. Struck by her children’s “El Dìa de los Muertos” sketches, she decided to delve into her Mexican heritage. She thus chose a unique style to identify herself and began creating skulls that impersonate humanity.
